Will Janssen S New Class Of Type 2 Diabetes Drug Fare Better Than AZN

Janssen, a division of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) has submitted a new drug application for canagliflozin that belongs to a new class of drugs called SGLT2 inhibitors to treat type 2 diabetes. The drugmaker is surely hoping it fares better than its rivals AstraZeneca (NYSE:AZN) and Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE:BMY) since the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
